Twitter finally removes 140 character limit on Direct Messages

This is some sort of good news for we the Twitter lovers, as Twitter has finally extended the limit of characters to which a user can send a direct message to his/her follower.

The formal limit was set at 140 characters, but presently you can now send up-to 10,000 characters.
NOTE: This is only applicable for Direct messages and not public Tweets. Feel free to check it out.
