MTN Nigeria Recently Launched two new daily internet bundle, with a data cap of 25MB and 50MB. The aim of introducing this internet bundle is to enable their customers get more data for a lesser price. Previously MTN Nigeria offered its customers 25MB for a week at 400 Naira, and 100MB for a month at 1000 Naira. I guess nobody ever subscribed to those plans, that’s why they decided to have a change of heart.
How to Activate the MTN 25MB & 50MB Daily Internet Bundle
To activate the 25MB: internet bundle, simply send “112” (without the quotes) in an SMS to 131. To check your data balance, simply send “2” (without the quotes) in an SMS to 131. The MTN 25MB daily internet bundle, costs 150 Naira Only. 
To activate the 50MB: internet bundle, simply send “113” (without the quotes) in an SMS to 131. The MTN 50MB daily internet bundle, costs 200 Naira Only.
It is not clear to us yet, whether the 10MB daily, 25MB Weekly and 100MB Monthly internet bundles are still working. We’ll let you as soon as we find out. Like I said, this is a very good move from MTN Nigeria that could push other Nigerian Mobile Networks (Airtel, Glo, and Etisalat) to start reviewing the prices of their internet bundles.
