Hello netinfong readers, hope you all are in good health?? because thats our utmost concern. How time flies, we have already reached half of the week and almost the end of November. Well today i would just like to enlighten our readers more about this new Tunnel Guru v2.6 and why we had to release it.
Due to the complains about Continuous Disconnection, and time wastage in connecting TCP protocol with MTN, we had to bring up a new version that solves all of this issues.

I can't just connect any more, stuck at having this error always : TCP: connect to 95.211.191.170:360 failed, will try again in 5 seconds: connection timed out. It always happens like this.

Before I'll complain, you should know that the little video trick has stopped working for me.
Arclite sorry abt that..the only way i can think of now for me to be able to help, is if u can atleast get 10.109.5.97 on 2g mode

News Update: if having a .2 instead of .5 on 2g or edge, solution is disconnect all connections, close all network programs (TG,Modem Dashboard) remove modem from pc and plug again after 10secs. make sure u set ur modem to 2g or edge before conecting at alll. den connect ur TG. u should get a .5 dis time and switch after successful connection. if u are still getting a .2 ? pls chris, i was using IDM and i decided to upgrade it, and it kps telling me this language ( internet download manager has been registered wit a fake serial number or the serial number has been bloked. IDM is exiting...) and it pop up wit someting dat i shuld enter my registration details, dat is; name, lastname, email seriel number, i uninstal the IDM and instal another one but the same thing. pls chris what do i do now
Dave, that's self explanatory, u used a crack or a patch which IDM does not recognise...so its asking u to put a recognised serial...or u try ur crack or serial again.

Also for MTN TCP.. local ports don't matter...I connect with any lport that comes to mind 626, 25, 124, 566 etc.....Also I use google DNS.
I am currently browsing with MTN, openvpn and VPNbook.....

@Bobsi its really easy.... download, extract and double click it...Once running you can change connection type to 3G or Edge depending on what you want.......note that it cannot run together with your modem software....cos they share the same port.....You will have to close the huawei/zte modem software
greetings to you @ chris,kudos 4 ur work here,hv bin using tg wit d edge mode of connecting n switching to 3g afa a succesful tg connectn bt since friday i started encountering a nw problem,i gt connected wit d edge mode,bt as soon as i switch to 3g,i gt a restarting tunnelguru n neva gt connectd again,i even bought n tried a new sim,still same problem,am in Abraka,Delta state,pls do help...
Finally got TG connection working. But I used OpenVPN to connect it. Learnt the method from some1. Still had to use my TG details for it. So u need subscription for it to work.

@paul purpose of the app is to help with switching from 2G to 3G........it doesn't replace your modem huawei/zte software it works with it... ...here is how i connect....i use my modem software to create all APN &settings i want.......once am done i close the modem software and then connect using reconnect app.....after connection, I load the MDMA....the MDMA will automatically pick up that my modem is already connected.....simple
@paul in simple terms use reconnect app along with the MDMA app....Connections & Disconnections should be done using reconnect. Use MDMA for signal & data monitoring...........................note that reconnect can only work if your modem software is in RAS(modem) mode

Chris i appreciate the services of TG vpn though it gives me trouble some times but it is far better than paying for all the time i spend online and i will not forget your timely response to every issue irrespective of the time and no matter how many times one comes up with the same complain i must commend you for that.My account will expire on 30th of this month and i want to recharge tomorrow can you set it to start counting from 1st of dec

A good way of helping TG browse and also keep the connection active is by using a very portable app called pinger. Just run the app after connecting ur modem and leave it to run in the background. It helps the vpn connect and also prevents disconnection. Here's a link to the app:

@Paul, means you have not followed my instructions from the complain u just stated. first of all i did not say when u are on 2g go and connect Tunnel Guru, then come back and switch to 2g NO.
what i clearly stated was only connect your Modem to 2g then use any of those switching patterns to 3g before u move to Tunnel Guru and do any connection.

Chris, is it just network on my end or MTN has stopped working with TG? Haven't been able to get a connection since yesterday on all ports.

MTN can be so funny, just when the browsing stopped. Some people are now getting 10.109.5.97 as DNS

Hello Friends, Bad News from Airtel, what do they want us to use when MTN would block TG and Now Airtel says that from 3rd Dec, that there Blackberry subscriptions will stop to work on none Blackberry Devices. God bless help Chris so that he can help us as well.
